📖 An Introductory Guide to Using the BrookieKids App

So you’ve just downloaded the BrookieKids app to give our free trial a go—hooray and welcome! 🎉 If you’re all set to dive into our magical Mandarin Stories Collection, here’s a handy little guide to get you started and make the most of your learning journey. 🐣✨

📌 Note: This blog post focuses on our Digital Mandarin Library, which is a subscription-based library of over 55 interactive stories (and growing!).

#1: How to View All Stories in Our Collection

Once you're in the app, tap on Mandarin Stories Collection to enter our digital library.

You'll find a treasure trove of voice-interactive stories designed to build Mandarin listening and speaking confidence for little learners! 🌈📚

👉 To see the full list of stories, simply tap “View More”. From festive favourites to everyday adventures, there’s something for every curious explorer.

#2: Use the Search or Filter Tool 🔍

Looking for a specific story or theme?

After clicking “View More,” you’ll notice a Search/Filter button.

Use it to:

• Search by story title or keyword

• Filter by difficulty level, theme, or even your child’s favourites!

• Sort by Alphabetical Order
  

It’s the quickest way to jump to the stories your little one will love most. 🧸💬

#3: Best Kept Secret: Settings ⚙️

Tucked away in the Settings tab are a few useful features you might have missed.

To get to Settings, click on the Menu button (Yellow, Top Left of Screen) on Home Page.

You can:

🎵 Turn off background music – great for quieter, focused reading sessions

📅 Check your subscription status – see when your trial or subscription ends

It’s a great way to customize your experience and stay informed.
